Quinta do Cardo Superior is a red wine that presents a velvety structure, relevant aromatic intensity, and aromas of ripe black fruits, floral notes of violet and rosemary. In the mouth, it features some notes of cocoa, vanilla, spices, along with firm and austere tannins and an extraordinary acidity.
Winemaking:
Quinta do Cardo Superior is a red wine produced by organically grown red grape varieties of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Alicante Bouschet. The grapes were harvested by hand for boxes of 12 kg and subjected to a rigorous selection. After complete destemming, pre-fermentative maceration was carried out for 8 days. The alcoholic fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24-26 °C. Vinification occurred in stainless steel vats for 28 days, followed by a stage in French oak barrels for 12 months.

Quinta do Cardo Superior is a red wine loaded with ripe black fruit aromas, balsamic scents, violet notes, and spices. It features an extraordinary fruity tannin and a wonderful acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
